BroadBit Wins the Kapsch TrafficCom FACTORY1 Accelerator Award
Today, BroadBit Batteries was announced to be among the winners of the first ever Kapsch TrafficCom Factory1 Award. BroadBit was chosen out of 285 applicants from 61 countries for this prestigious recognition of innovation and value.
“As a pure hardware company, it was, a first, a big surprise to win this award since Kapsch TrafficCom is currently focused much more on software solutions than hardware”, said BroadBit CEO, David Brown. “But Kapsch is a very forward looking and innovative company and they see the tremendous potential and promise of our battery technology, both for their immediate business and beyond”, he continued.
BroadBit, together with the other 6 winners of the award, will be developing a proof-of-concept with Kapsch TrafficCom over the next six months, which will be presented at the ITS World Congress in Montreal, Canada in October.
